Beauty Brands go to Washington
"More than a dozen natural skincare and cosmetic brands have formed the Counteract Coalition, an alliance of companies that supports the Personal Care Products Safety Act. The bill, introduced by Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine), would, among other things, require manufacturers to post complete label information about products online, and force beauty companies to provide the Food and Drug Administration with information about the ingredients used in their products."
